Cookies: Bite Size Life Lessons

Everyone can relate to cookies, those bite-sized delights--and people of all ages know that cookies are best shared. This gem of a book uses cookies to define words that are hard to explain to children. Some definitions, such as "fair" and "unfair," "greedy" and "generous," are straightforward and simple; however, even hard-to-define words, such as "compassionate," "pessimistic," "optimistic, and "modest" find a place here. ("Modest means you don't run around telling everyone you make the best cookies, even if you know it to be true.") And the pictures are just yummy!
