Follow the Line by Laura Ljungkvist

Does your library need another counting book? The answer is probably "no" unless you're asking about Laura Ljungkvist's Follow the Line. Don't let the deceptively dull cover fool you--this book is graphically fantastic from layout to color palette. It has a strikingly retro feel yet is utterly modern for today's kids. Each layout is interspersed with counting questions that relate to the topic on each page. Children will be facinated that every outline in the book stems from a single line that they can follow with their finger. This is a great book to recommend to parents for bedtime. -Rhiannon
