Pebble A Story About Belonging by Susan Milord

This is another one of those kids books that's really for adults. The illustrations are lovely--reminding me of my native New England beaches--but ultimately, this book is over the heads of those in the picture book age group and a 8-12 year old who would take the message to heart may find the picture book format a disappointment.
That said, as an adult I did enjoy it and I would recommend it to a teacher looking to open a classroom discussion.
